Tuesday, June 9th Picnic, tickets due May 28th

Dear RES Families,

As we near the end of the school year, we find ourselves reflecting on what a truly wonderful year it has been at Rainier Elementary. We are so thankful for the continued support and involvement of our families! Your partnership has made a meaningful difference in the success of our students.

To celebrate all we’ve accomplished together, we’re excited to invite you to our End of Year Family Picnic on Tuesday, June 9th. This event is a special opportunity for families to come and enjoy time with one another as we close out the school year.

If you would like to purchase lunch for the picnic, please complete the attached form and return it, along with payment, to the Elementary Office by Thursday, May 28th. Paper copies will also be sent home with the students. Online payments are not available.

Family members who paid for a lunch will be included on a list provided to Food Service. The list will be organized alphabetically under the student’s name.

• Adult lunch: $5.16
• Non-enrolled child lunch: $3.60
• All Kindergarten-5th grade students receive lunch for free—you do not need to order for them.
• Preschool student lunch: $3.60 (11:00 AM – 11:50 AM, preschoolers are with parents at this time)

Lunch Menu: Hot Dog, chips, apple, frozen treat, Milk

Families are welcome to bring their own lunches; purchasing lunch is optional.

It is time to for the students in Grades 3 - 5 to take the Smarter Balance Assessment!
